About this skill
Publication-grade plotting helpers (R + Python) with opinionated lab defaults. Ships pavlabheatmap (wraps pheatmap / seaborn.heatmap; diverging amber-orange→black→sky-blue palette centred at zero, black-body sequential alternate, no clustering by default, auto-hides labels when too many to read), plus distributional helpers pavlabscatter, pavlabdensity (KDE / histogram / violin), pavlabstripchart (strip or swarm — lab default for showing data), and pavlabboxplot (used sparingly; bakes in raw points + mean ± SE). Use for heatmaps (expression, correlation, any matrix), scatter, density, stripcharts, or any "lab-style figure" / "publication-quality figure" request.
