Sums each entity's trial balance, posts elimination journal entries to a dedicated consolidation book (intercompany AR vs AP, intercompany sales vs COGS, investment-in-subsidiary vs the sub's equity), and carves out non-controlling (minority) interest where the parent owns less than 100%.
